I used to travel to Huntington, WV/Ashland Ky area for work. There was a construction Co. working on the interstate in that area that ALL their equipment was painted pink!!!!

There used to be a heavy equipment company down in Houston TX, Allied Rental I believe the name was. All of their machinery was painted a really awful purple. That was mid 80s when I helped my dad service dozers and backhoes.

Funny you mention that, up in the Ashland WI area, there is a construction company called Angilo Lepino construction (spelling?) that all of there equipment is pink too.  The reason I heard there stuff is pink, is that it's kinda hard to steal a pink piece of equipment and get away and get rid of it without someone noticing, LOL!
