Okay guys, this is it... This should be my last cry for help!  (on this tractor anyway)My engine is totally rebuilt, and all I have to do is adjust my valves and bolt the cover on.  (or so I thought)  Upon putting the torque wrench to the nuts on my Rocker Arm Shaft Supports, (#227627) I found that 2 of the 4 are CRACKED!!!   I'd like to replace all 4 with some known good ones.  I believe they were originally "over-torqued" at one point in it's prior life...  Does anybody have a set they would part with?  Is there any new ones out there?  My D14 is a 1957 w/ 149 engine...  I sure would appreciate the help.  I'm so very close!!!

As i understand, that is common on the 14 and 15.  I had two broken ones on my D 15 II.  I got two used ones from sandy lake.  they had new ones also.

I have opened up engines with the rocker shaft stands welded , they seemed to be holding up well.

Usually those break when you assemble the rocker arm shaft without backing off the rocker adjusting screws. I think I have two of them. I will look this evening.

yes make sure the pushrods are down in the lifter. and the rockers are all backed off . then make sure each stand is down on the pedastal before putting the wrench to the nut. If they aint they will break and are not forgiving.

I got one from AC about 2 years ago; $70.00, ouch!  For sure find a used one and I almost think one could machine one from square stock.  The replacement from AC was square.
