Does anybody have some color pics on an unrestored WC that they would not mind haring?  I need some ideas for my next custom toy, the more used looking the tractor the better, styled or unstyled does not matter.  Thanks.

Claus,  I am at work right now and wont be home until late tonight, but I could post some on here once I get home.  I have a 1936 unstyled WC.  It has a home done paint job and rough rubber and stuff but it runs like new.  I am hoping to restore it someday but the funds wont allow right now.

That is great!  Keep 'em coming.  Does anybody have an ole WC on steel wheels?  I'm wanting to weather up a Ertl Precision WC, the more dirty the better.

see if this works..  this is the first picture I have posted on the new forum.  If I did it right there should be two different tractors there..  both 1936

The brighter paint of the two is my good tractor.  It was missing fenders and round spoke rear rims which I took off of the parts tractor (stuck engine in pretty bad shape) and also had good fenders which I still have to sand blast and prime.  Hopefully some day will get this one restored as it belonged to the man who introduced me to tractors.  Holds a lot of sentimental value.

I will add in that I am looking for a good used matching set of 13.6x24 rear tires near east central Indiana or western OH if anybody has some let me know.

This was my 47 parts tractor as I found it. It still has a vee belt hooked to the unloading auger of a batch dryer.

This is the 35 the day I got it off the trailer.

'37 WC  pulling back in 1990, before rules allow much deviation from stock appearance.

Like Andrew said about his tractor, the tractor in this picture has great sentimental value to me.  The one common thing I've noticed about early WC's that have been worked, the paint doesn't stay on the top tank of the radiator.  I farmed with this tractor, before its pulling days, and blistered the paint off the radiator's brass top tank.

There isn't much a WC can't do.

WD's just do it better.

I have some photos of my styled WC, and it is well weathered, but I get the impression you want early unstyled tractors. I will post pictures anyway.

Heres our 1938 after just getting it. This is not the original paint however, it had been painted again sometime in the 50's or 60's.

Don, I might be a little wet behind the ears, but those wheel centers look different than any I have seen. Are they AC? I suppose Fench and Hecht steel wheels cut down, but not the usual style I see around here.

Yes, they are F and H steel rear cut downs. But the original steel wheels were called potato steel rears, I know of a couple more around. My buddy Bill at one time had a set that were not cut offs.
