Is is physically possible to make a D18? I am really considering this. D-17 front with a D-19 Rearend.

I thought I could make my D-17D a D-18 by putting on a D-19D turbocharger

Norms book explains it as a D-17 D front end with a D-19 Rearend.

Allis Chalmers Story by CH Wendel has a couple of pictures of a D18.  Doesnt look tough enough, I am glad they went to the D18 style
