Now for a Sunday chore; can you measure the outside wheelbase?

Don't know what the outside wheel base is for sure but it will fit on a 101 inch trailer with some room to spare so I bet what Bret posted for overall width is the wheel base. I hauled mine home on a 4 place snowmobile trailer....

The wheels are not the widest portion of the machine, so his number couldnt be the
overall width.

That would probably be the tread width Brett listed as 6"10". Eric in TN.

It strikes me that the overall width is 7' 4", but that is from memory, which I know is failing....

Tom:

The data I posted came from the back page of a model 40 sales brochure.  I know that they haul comfortably on an 8 ft. wide trailer.  If you need more data, I can measure my 40, but it is tucked in the back of the shed and access is a bit tight at the moment.
