Hi Guys.

I am wondering what the main difference between these machines.
I am really interested in the changes to the backhoe.
I have the I-60 machine and the I-600 backhoe. The backhoe seems like it is too heavy for the Tractor??

Thanks in advance.

The I 60 and I 600 tractors are the same. The difference is in the backhoe. On the 600, the out riggers lift all the way verticaly. Yes the hoe is plenty big for the rest of the tractor. I had a I 60 for four years digging silo foundations and broke the rear axle and had the rear wheel fall off several times. Traded for a 715 and then a 715B. Much tougher machines.

Did you have some weight on the front in addition to the loader?

I have the I600 backhoe on the I60...feels almost dangerous how front light the machine is now...

Thanks for your input!

Hi DW,

Do you have any pictures of your tractor with backhoe?  I'm trying to identify mine.  So far, I think it may be a I600 also.  The hoe does seem very heavy for the tractor.  If you look on my post you'll see pictures of mine.

My I 60 had a chin weight but could have used more.

I think maybe you have a D15II industrial.
The loader and backhoe look quite different than mine.

I will try to post a picture.

That does look a little different than mine.  I did manage to find the serial number on mine, and found out it's a D14.

I found a bunch of stuff on the industrial D-14 and D-17s, price sheets and the different manufactures that made the equip. Seems like allis offered lots of different configurations with the tractors.
