I'm putting new long tie rod ends on my ac5050 and am having trouble getting them to come out of their tubes.Whats the best way to get the outer adjustable tie rod end out of its sleeve?

a torch heat the tube up and use some penetrating oil and the y should come free after a while..... the trick is getting them hot enough but not too hot to melt them....we have to do this a lot on cars and trucks as well while doing alignments.....it works best.to get loose from spindles just rapp on the spindle with a ball peen hammer they will pop up and then just remove..... loosen jamb nuts and remove from adjuster sleeve with heat..... after removal of old tie rods lube with antiseize and reinstall.... i hope this helps you..... if you take a tape measure and measure the frame rail to rim front and in back side of front rim then make sure the steering wheel is straight while doing this you should be able to set toe on front wheels to keep tires from wearing too bad.... you can set it pretty close if measurements are same on both sides in front of rim and back of rim....get someone to hold wheel straight front seat while adjusting them....should take about 1/2 hour to do....thanks for the post....
