can anyone tell me if there is a difference in compression between the allis 226 4in bore piston and a case DC 4in bore piston?
Have an idea but want to make sure it works out or if i am just wasting my time!
Thanks

I don't know about the DC, but also check out John Deere 3010 gas engines.... I looked one time and did a little quick math and thought them to be a good cantidate if trying to modify an Allis on the cheap.  I'll be gong to the salvage yard for some items soon and I'll try to take a quick look and measure, estimate bowl volume, etc.  Maybe even later on today.  I'll be heading down through New Glarus next thursday possiably.
