Is there an advanage to lowering the front end of the tractor? I could loose a few pounds this way. I am going to re do the front weight bracket, smaller tires will affect my design, so I GOT TO MAKE MY MIND UP.

The answer is yes. It has to do with leverage.

Ok this is what I wanted... Don't stop now! I assume with the front lower, it will take more force on the rear to lift it until it gets to a ceartin point??????

Whenever the front has been dropped down below centerline, as you begin to raise the front wheels off the ground, the front weights actually start moving forward a bit making the front heavier/harder to lift. The lower it is dropped the more this has an effect.

Cotn , put about a 3 or 4 degree rake on it. use an magnetic angle finder place it on center of engine . Maybe between the 2 water jackets on the cylinder head . Then see where ur at. Be careful at rules etc. There is a sled in the area where I live that disqualifies over 18 inches of lift. That sucks! But it's a hook. Take care .

What will fit? Is the pattern 5 hole x 4.5 or 4.75? Any automotive wheel fit? I am away from the tractor cant go measure. May be able to find something at a salvage yard, I have an old axle, with a set of 12" wheels on it, I think they are 4.5" pattern. I would like to go aluminium, and look pretty! LOL!

I replaced my originals from my wd45 with ones from a farmall cub. I cut out the centres out of the cub rims and welded in ones from the spare 45,s . I did this for two reasons. 1 i wanted to lose some weight. So I thought of removing on tire but was not allowed. By using the 4x12 cub they are 18 lbs whereas the 45's are 52lbs each. Lost 68lbs instead of just 52lbs. Just following rules lol. 2 is leverage just like doc said I figured it would be harder to lift therefore I would infect be further down track before she started to lift
