Was wondering if anyone had any AC manure spreaders. Want to know how many models they made. If any one could post pics if they had any and what model they have that would be great, I have a couple and want to know if they are complete or not. Also if anyone has any AC manure spreaders that are incomplete or need work, I might be interested.

Did Allis build the 140 and 180 or buy them from someone else?

Here's some pics of the ALLIS-CHALMERS 281 manure spreader that I restored about five years ago now.  I think this was the last series of spreader A-C offered.  They offered a 299 model this same time period it looks the same just longer box.

I know the post is old, but do you still have this spreader?  I am needing the gear box or the front drive of the gear box for an A-C 140-S. If anybody can help me out I would appreciate it.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
