are you sure it is gone and not just an adjustment or low on oil? i have never messed with an oil clutch but would think there is some adjustment. good luck

The oil clutches are a multiple disc clutch like your steering clutches. They are rather expensive to fix. I just priced out the steel and fiber disc's for a customer and they were right around $2000.00 for all the disc's.    Matt

When replacing multilpe disk clutches you usually don't have to replace all of them.

I am interested to find out more about your oil clutch repair. My HD6G is older with the Auburn dry clutch. I often thought that having an oil clutch would be the end of clutch problems.

ok i ran it for over an hour and no problems i gues the filter was stoped up . dozer i do know several other times that the clutch as went out when dad used it everyday loading trucks he sold the loader back in 86 and i bought it back in 96 the guy who had it said he replaced the master clutch in it but it spends it days now under the shed  unless i need to move stuff around . that machine has ALWAYS been bad on the right steering clutch until i got it and had the matalic disk put in it . dad paid 18500 for it new sold it for 6500 and i bought it back for 3000 because the right steering clutch was out .
