Recently replaced disks for steering clutches. Moved dozer apprx 20 yards and now dozer will not move at all. Could this be related to hydraulic pump?

Could be hyd pump or torque converter. Will it raise the dozer front will blade against ground. Could be simple as your linkage on hyd valve for shuttle clutch. Need more info to diagnose problem. Tracy Martin

Shuttle clutch over the fact of the steering clutches , UNLESS somehow the axles slipped back into housing and are not driving the clutches.
Unusual to loose all movement in few and rev,  is the ATF level in the converter full while the system is running ? check level ?
Converter and the hyd system are separate units and drive system is separate from hyd system.

Tracy,

The blade will travel up and down. Not sure what's going on.

Chris,if the blade will lift dozer, I think your shuttle clutch is not working. It is hyd actuated. Look under the shuttle lever at your left hand, the linkage may have come loose. Does your dozer have a PTO? Is it turning? Can you feel any movement or resistance when using shift lever?Need more info to trouble shoot it. Tracy Martin

Tracy,

Thanks for the advice. I'll try to look at this in the coming week.
