7.50 s on your stock wheel will only have about a 1/2 inch clearance. and a little bit more on a wide front. to put larger tires on you need to look for other rims. A wagon wheel has a deeper offset and you can run up to a 9.00.

I have 60's vintage dodge pickup rims on my D-17 and can run 10.50's with room to spare.
