New to the forum and just purchased a WD45 w/ frontend loader. What is a realistic weight limitation for the bucket. Will it lift 1000 pounds?

I would say yes, but will be hard to steer and unless weight added, very light/poor traction.

Thanks Bob D. for the reply...Just need to snag a generator that weighs about 1000 pounds and relocate it. Will be going very slow. Just wanted ask first before attempting...

I had one on a wd and honestly it would pick up 1500 but that was it. I know because I was picking up 14 inch h pile at seventy some pounds per foot , just be careful when you let it down because with a heavy load she drops quick

WD 90 loader was listed as 1500 lb lift capacity. and came with a 9 CF bucket. which is about 1100 lbs of manure. Mine with a set of wheel wieghts and a cab has no problem with 1000 lbs. it will get hard to steer. Rember to always carry your load as low as possable. f I need to move anything heavy more than just a few feet I lift it up back the trailer under and move it on the trailer.

almost looks like a grain box of an old gleaner. I like it. bet it's a lot better than a heat houser in the winter

The loader is straight . But it has quite a bit of reinforcment welded to it.  It is a lot better than a heat houser. the warm air from the engine blows bak and I don't need any more than normal street clothes. In the summer the canvas fwd part and rear door come off and the windows open.

It'll lift 1000 lbs easily.

Back when my pump was turned up a bit, I could push the rims to the ground with 35PSI in the front tires.

Thanks a million to all who have replied on the loader capacity post. I look forward to many good years in sharing the retirement years with this old girl doing the lifting by my side...
