Hello all.

My book calls for "series 3" oil in my HD4 Dozer. What is a good replacement engine oil for that?

Shell Rotella will meet the specs. can use the 15/40 multi grade with no problems.

With the new lower ash oil now required the specs have changed and the Series 3 has been superceided by new spec for the new EPA rules on emissions and with the reformulation of fuel .
