I am putting my d14 back together and I am having problems. I cant get the power steering lines on. None of them will go on. No matter how many tweaks and adjustments I make they won't thread in. Of course they all want to try to cross thread. Junk. Anyone else hate these as much as me.

Are they solid steel?  If so, maybe get some rubber ones made.

Hello Ironac   I think the steering is the same as my I-40 $ steel lines at the steering valve.    We started restoration back in 04 for the GOTO COMING HOME, didn't finish,  bought all new  straight lines but don't remember what ports they go on. Should be done for show in September

They are all steel. Just a pain. Where did you buy them

I've had mine off and on a few years ago.  They are a pain, but you have to be patient.
Start at the back of the pump with the line that is closest to the engine.  Get it lined up and thread in hand tight on the pump.  Once both ends are threaded by hand, tighten the one on the pump since the next line will prevent you from doing this.
Another hint is to loosen your front axle and front casting, this will give you some extra room to get things in place easier - remember to jack up the tractor under the clutch housing so there is no weight on the front end.
