Howdy,
I know this has been a frequent topic on the 170, but I've been out of the loop and am fixing 'er up.  Is there any consensus on how to fix the popping out of 3rd gear?  My favorite tractor and would love if this one thing was taken care of.

Some you tell you to check the shift forks, all the ones I have seen need to have the gear replaced.....

You will have to split the tractor and go through the transmission right.  Anything else is just a band aid.
