Presently I'm using an AC 2300 18 ft doublefold (I have bent/dented a few blades due to the extra weight I have on it), but I'm considering going bigger and heavier. I've noticed the AC 2600 has much heavier blades but is a very solid disk (24 ft centerfold) and I have rocks, hills and peat sloughs. Both White and Massey have a stone/rock flex or spring cushion option on some of their models. (Haven't seen Deere) Does anyone have a suggestion or preference?    Will the AC 2600 handle rocks or is the spring cushion option a better choice?

Spring cushion as you call it is more appropriately known as the "Rock Flex" gang.......made for rocks. Consider a 2500 series which is way better than your 2300 and lighter than a 2600.

Howdy,
I had  AC 2600 24 foot with rock flew gangs. Worked very well with the rocks and heavy ground back in WI. The 2600 cut right in and half the time I never plowed.

The farm I work at has a 33ft. 2600 and they have a lot of rock in the fields and its not really too beat up.  As Kurzy said, the 2600 is an excellent cutting disk.
