I'm trying to run my White 6600 6 row planter with a 8010 2wd powershift. I have to run the air blower fan with a set of remotes and then I lift the planter with another set. My problem is when I have the blower running it takes the tractor like 15 or 20 seconds to lift the planter up at the end of the row. I've switched the remotes around so the blower is on the last remote in the stack and the lift is in the first to try and give it priority. But it hasent helped. Any ideas? When the blower isnt running it lifts the planter like nothing. And the blower shouldnt really be using much flow as it has a regulator on it and cant be using that much. Any ideas? Its a real pain to plant with right now.

Fluid takes the least path of resistance. Add more resistance to the blower but make sure you don't restrict it so much that the blower performance is affected.

You familiar with the flow controls on the hydraulic stack? You should be setting your blower speed with the flow control, not a regulator. You should be able to have the flow control for the blower speed set fairly low, and have plenty hydraulic left for the lift circuit. Darrel

Like Darrel said don't use a regulator on that system. Set the flow control under the seat just fast enough to run the blower. Take the regulator off. MACK

Its not that easy. The regulater is built into the blower system. Its on every planter. The thing is our 8070 and our 7050 have both ran this exact same setup with no problem. There isn't much oil going through the blower system so its not using much flow.

I think that your 8010 should have the exact same hydraulic system (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) as what your 8070 and 8050 have. When you speak of the "built in regulator", your probably right in the fact that you can't remove it, but you should be able to do some sort of adjustment to it such as running a screw in all of the way or something to make it compatible to the 8010 hydraulic system which is a pressure flow compensating system. The planter operator's manual would have that information. I still would lean towards you having an issue with where your flow controls are set at to being the problem. The 8010 should not have a problem at all with handling this planter hydraulic load. darrel

You may also want to run the return oil from the blower motor back thru what I call a zero return port. I have seen people remove the top sight gass and then screw in a pipe fitting with a quick coupler.As others have said,open the regulator up at the planter,and then tone the flow down at the tractor.
