for fuel filter. It say's secondary. My questions; is this the correct fuel filter for the XT III and why does it say secondary...do/did they consider the sediment bowls primary? Thanks and Happy Easter. Dana

secondary means final filter, lower micron rating. Typically around 5 micron. On these tractors, it is the only real filter though, so the primary would be the sediment bowls/screen.

Thanks. So can anyone verify if this WIX number is correct? I am trying to verify everything being correct before removing pump again.

That's the one I use.  There are others that very only in the length of the filter and would also be correct.  The 33354 is the short one and easiest to get started and tightened on the 190's I have loaders on, so I use it for all the ones I have.  The longer versions would probably last longer before plugging, but I don't have a problem with that.  Most get replaced because it's been so long, not because the plug.

Thanks guys. When I took out the sed bowls their inlets had corky looking crap in them. I have proved all lines are good and they're back together. When I run her again we shall see if she still seems starving for fuel. Hope not.

Wow -- you are doing such a great job getting all your tractors ready -- when you are done and bored, feel free to come out and do mine -- LOL
