It didn't have any when I got it and there was NO wiring, I had to start from scratch. I want to put some on my 'C'. I want to know how they are hooked up and where the wires run?  I don't want to get the wiring in the fan blades. How do they unhook when you want to take the hood off?  Anybody have any pics?
Thanks, Ted

they are wired into a block on the fan shroud -- does not effect hood removal

If I remember right, my CA had an insulated stud toward the left side above the fan. The right side light's wire crosses to this and both are connected to the supply wire on the stud. That connection must be broken to remove the lights if you want to remove the hood.

That is a good question. It runs in the harness to the generator and then up to the stud.

On Steve B's harness the power wire runs behind the gen and carb thru the tool box to the switch

The hood has a "C" cutout to allow you to remove the hood and not remove the lights.

Chalmersbob, I don't think mine has that?  I will have to take a look.  Thanks!  Do you have a pic of this?

My CA hood does also but you still have to loosen the headlight nut to remove the hood. I have had to take the hood off for different reasons. If I want to operate the tractor with it off I won't do it with the lights flopping around so I take them all the way off.

The power circuit comes off of the Headlight/Charging switch in the Ammeter panel as AC John mentioned. The main feed wire runs to the insulated junction which is mounted on the Radiator shroud from the H/L switch, and then to each headlight. There usually is a little "C' shaped cut at the front of the hood to allow the hood to be removed by loosening the headlights by turning them out a few times. (with the lamp wire disconnected)  Headlights should thread into the side of the Radiator frame. We have new headlights along with new junction and wiring to make it happen if interested Ted.  HTH

The headlight "bolt" should have a lock nut on it. This allows the light to stay mounted and just loosen the lock nut to remove the hood. If you want to keep the hood off, just retighten the locknuts to secure the lights. Bob
