Hi Toi

Welcome to the Forum.

Do you have any pictures of your D-10, and / or the Serial number.

See the attached link for Serial No. location ( L/H side of tractor below breather )

Don Snow builds replacement grills for D series tractors that are better than original.
Norm's toys sells them. Last time I checked they were $275.

That Serial number would make it one of the first D-10 built.

Started in 1959 at Serial 1001. So yours was built in 1959.

If this is an early D-10 you would have the three black bars around the grill.  If you get one you may want to duplicate it since they are rather rare and makes the 10 look classy.  Don't know why AC stopped them.
Perhaps someone can post a picture of the grill I describe.
Welcome to the form.  You will find that you have an excellent tractor.
Good Luck!

The back bar grill is not hard to make. I went to a steel supply and got the mesh, and the bar stock, 1"x1/16" I think it was. Then you meke 2 clipps that hold the bottom in place.
You need to find a plastic or rubber "U" channel to go around the ouside.

I made this one out of a junk d19 grille and got the stuf to go around the outside from mcaster carr, I think, just posting beacuse of how easy it is to make them, yours is suposed to have the bars , this is a series one as well but mine is at the other end of the serial # (one of the later series 1s , it should have this grille) range
