Is a ca gas tank the same as a b or c?

CA and late B shared a tank I believe. The CA had the starter switch on top so there is an indentation in the bottom of the tank for clearance. Not sure if any C's had this tank. Older B's and C's did not have this " inverted bump". Early B's didn't have the strap on the back end of the tank for a mount bolt.

Late B/CA tanks will work on Cs and earlier Bs except for the very early Bs. But none of the Early B/C tanks work on the late Bs & CAs. Kip
