we have determined the shifter shaft retainer came off the clutch shifter fork shaft. The shaft must have come out the hole in the torque tube. Has anyone had this experience and is there any way to fix this w/o pulling the tractor into? It appears there is a hole at the bottom of the torque tube that on end got in, is the housing machined at the top for the shaft to fit? Hope this makes sense
Thanks,
Joe/NC

It can be done with patience. You will need a pin made that will have retainer provisions outside the torque tube. It would be possible to use a original, but putting the little clip above fork pivot is almost impossible, almost but can be done. Good Luck! Tracy Martin
