HELLO
I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE OVERHAULED A 7060 LATELY USING A AGCO OVERHAUL KIT ? IF SO ANY PROBLEMS I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT?

just did an inframe in our 8050 last month. got the kit from minpar but was all agco parts. plastigaged half the rods and mains, all 2.5 thousandths. went pretty smoth.

The good thing about Agco kits is that their rod bolts are actually ARP. These bolts are the best and much better than originials. Be sure to check the dia of the bottom of the sleave. They are very tight and I would hone for more clearance. Had a D-21 get tight during breakin on the dyno and break a piston skirt. It will make you throw up as Dr. Allis said.

I would put M&W piston and liners in it they make more power right out of the box because of the piston design Ive never had a problem with them. right out of the box with the pump at 10% over in our 220 it was 160 hp at rated rpm and it pegged the dyno loading it more without killing the tractor i found mine at a wholesale parts warehouse in belmond iowa called howard enterprizes they only sell to some one with a business tax id talk to kelley and if he doesnt have any i know an old allis dealer bought up a few sets at the time i got mine. that would be wellik and dewitt imp from britt iowa talk to melvin hope that helps. Also check your gear on the oil pump if the gear teeth are getting thin replace the gear i found out the hard way when you tighten the bearings up it raises the oil pressure a bit and put mores stress on the gear. lucky i caught it while it was idling and didnt hurt the motor but had to pull the pan again and replace the gear.
