I need the solution to convert my power unit motor to tractor.  I got a little ahead of myself and mounted the motor and front end so I need a bushing and a seal for the lever going in to the front cover. I hope this can be done with the front cover still on the tractor. Any help will be appreciated  greatly.

Hey Orange Juice,

Well, you probably can, if the distributor or Power steering drive is removed, and the front governor cover is also off, however you run a high chance of loosing parts down inside the engine.  I would stuff old T-shirt rags in ever nook and cranny around the cam gear, front and back, the reason I say T-Shirt rags, is because they will stay together when you go to pull them out, paper towels may soak oil, and come apart or tear when you go to pull them out, and then you have more work to do.  Anyway, you have to remove the governor bearing fork from the end of the shaft before removing the rod out the other side.
