Hi All, great Forum.
I need some help with my Dad's WD-45. He bought a 2 bottom for it last year, and he came over to watch me run it yesterday.
The plowing went great, but we had hydraulic problems. The arms were lifting super slow (like stop a the end of a row and wait about 60 seconds for the plow to ge hight enough to make the turn)
We haven't used the hydraulics much in the past few years, but I know they used to move like normal just a few years back. Sometimes they would lift quicker, and for a while it was popping out while moving, but most the time it took forever.
Any thoughts?

Plow should lift up in about 3 or 4 seconds with engine revved up. Make sure screw "D" is all the way threaded "out" of the pump body.

Dr Allis is correct!! on screw "D" if it already is out all the way I wonder if one of the pump pistons could be stuck? there are many parts to this pump, are you sure there is enough oil in the reservoir? Keep us posted.

I would check fluid level first seeing as you said worked good before and I doubt any adjustment screws have turned themselves, maybe even need to drain and put in all new fluid if you haven't used hydraulics in that amount of time. Start with the simple stuff before you mess with adjustments or tear anything apart.

"Popping out"? As in lifting in a jerking/lurching manner? Classic of needing more fluid. Dipstick is just ahead of the clutch pedal inside the frame rail. Universal hydraulic fluid will work, I believe the manual calls for 10w engine oil. AaronSEIA

Fluid level is good.
I think screw "D" is backed out like you suggested.
When I said "popping out, I just meant that the forward motion of the plow seemed to help raise itself some and for a few rounds I didn't have to stop and wait for it to raise.
The rest of the time I had to throw out the hand clutch with the plow still (at least) partially in the ground so I could ake the turns.
It seemed like the fluid was having to get through a much smaller area (stuck valve r something?), because it'd lift the weight with no problem, just painfully slow.
