Been a labor of love...and heavy on the labor, but my tractor is ready for work.
Changed all fluids, rebuilt the ignition totally, took the tank off and cleaned it out to find someone had aleady lined it. Put new lights on and rewired the thing. Rebuilt the gauge cluster and battery box adding fresh working gauges and a new key switch. Fixed the seat post...and on and on smile.gif
Sprayed a fresh coat of orange and decaled her up today.

Now she needs to get back to earning her keep!

Looks good.  I prefer the lights where you have them vs. factory.  I intend to do the same to mine.

That's one mighty sharp 45 you got there. I hope to get mine into that condition before too long!

Nice job!!  Need more pics!!  What does the ignition box look like?  Where did you get the air pre-cleaner?  Did you mount the lights directly to the fender?  Mine MIGHT look like that some day...

Thanks fellas..Ill see if I can some take more tommorow in the light of day.
I actually rebuilt the battery box out of some metal I cut from a old window air conditioner. The wiring to the starter was on a flip switch and the old lights did not work.
Totally redone it all and install a rear light as well. I did mount the lights directly to the fender, and I picked up the pre-cleaner at a local auto zone..just had to make a gasket for it to make it work.
I got a seat cover on the way as well as a new temp gauge to install so I guess its not totally complete yet!

Looks like you did a nice job! Thumbs Up But something that bugs me when people repaint a WD45 is a lot of them get the wrong style WD45 decal and it gets placed in the wrong spot.

I noticed that Tractor Supply is selling the wrong style decals in our local store.

Thanks guys..
Im not too concerned with decal placement or using correct ones on this tractor. If I was gonna do a complete resto, I would do it right though. Ive got all of $2700, including the facelift, into this tractor, and thats with a 3pt setup and snap coupler blade, so I feel like I did alright.
Plan on spending some time on this tractor prepping ground for nwsg, food plots, grading and mowing.
