I went to an auction to buy some AC stuff but everything went to high.
He had a AC 11 shank cheisel plow that went for $600 that was missing two shanks and had no wheels,  Gleaner cornhead for g went for $300 and a bean head went for $300. aslo had  2 gleaner g's for parts that went for $1800 and $1100 and a Big Ten that went for $250 that was minus the deck (i got that) and was not running. And it was not just AC stuff but every other piece of equiment was going high. Hopefully it won't stay like this all year.

i've been going to some farm auctions recently. prices are ridiculous at some. a few weeks ago my dad bought a 12ft  spring tooth harrow for $200 this last saturday i saw a 8 footer bring $700. i'm going to another farm auction this coming saturday, curious to see how that sale goes. i have had better luck (price wise) buying some equipment bye word of mouth, or finding stuff sitting for sale. just purchased a massey ferguson 520 12 ft. transport disc with cylinder, and a hitch jack. very good condition, needs some bearings and 1 disc for $500.

High  yes........ but  i think the small stuff is reasonable....... as so many in my neck of the woods are farming so many acres right now  and going bigger .hence the small stuff  is becoming obsolete to some .

notice lately how many scrap buyers are standing in the  crowd bumping the price? used diesel trucks are sky high because the new ones cost as much as a house plus the fuel economy is in the dumper. cant believe the prices we are getting for a 7.3 with 200k on the clock. gas today in ohio is 3.89 & diesel @ 4.01. stick that hope and change crap barrey........
