Been searching posts about hydraulic hold positions and now I am more confused.  I have a 3 pt on my wd45.  I cannot hold it at one position.  It wants to drift up or down.  Can I fix this?

Thanks!

WILL WORK   IF PUMP IS SET CORRECT   RECHECK SETTING   HAD IT HAPPEN ON A COMBINE ONCE   LOWERSCREW ON PUMP WAS NOT SCREWD INTO PUMP BODY
FRON AN A-C MAN    DRAWBAR CONTROL ARM ACTIVATE IT WHEN PULLING UNIT

Set the hydrualic control lever at the hold position with a load on the arms and shut the tractor off. If the arms stay in place, the linkage needs adjusted. If they still go down it's time for a new ball and seat in the hold position valve. This assumes that the pump is set to hold like Norm said.
