    Hey guys,
On a WD, I've got the brakes out, and the linings are about 1/4" thick.  How thick are new linings?  I also have one brake drum with 1/8th inch deep grooves in it, does it need replacement ?
Second question: Does anybody have seal numbers for the differential ? I'm talking about the 2 seals that go into the end caps on either side of the diff.

I would replace the linings while they are out. The drum should be ok if the major OD is ok.   MACK

The new pads i have came from Valubilt and are less than a 1/4 thick new. .223 thick. If the pads are not scored like the drum give some thought to not replacing them. The new rivet installation takes some time to develop a method of doing. Search some older posts before you make up your mind.
