Lifted my disc up to start repairs. Has a few broken blades and spacers. One gang down, one to go. I need to find the tees that go on the lift chains still and tighten up the Frame. This is a big step up from the old light weight farmall disc I had before.

Is that a CA 20 disc? With the small threaded rod up front in the middle to adjust the fore/aft pitch?

If so, it will be good for spring work but may be too light for fall tillage in cornstalks (bean stubble might be OK).

Its a wd 20 disc. A little over eight foot wide. I only grow veggies and it is much heavier than my old one. Mostly it will be nice to be able to lift it and move it around easier. Nice to have all orange equipment now too.

Glock on the right lift arm if you zoom in you can see the repair link and through the top of it I have a 7/16 bolt with washers and a locknut. Works great.

That's how I got mine set up right now. Seems to work ok on the wd but pops out of the ca though. That's a nice looking disc. Wish mine was that nice!

Hey, if you don't have to mess with the bearings at all, your already ahead in the ballgame! Have a #40 that needs bearings.

Glock I had a friend make decals for the back after this pic. Allis Chalmers 20 Series. These discs were in good shape when I bought them except the blades were worn thin and hitting rocks would split them. All new 20" cutter discs increased the weight dramatically! You sure don't want to be discing up a hill and lift them with the way my WD is set up!

Glockhead, looking at your engine hoist, you really are a shadetree mechanic, aren't you??
