changed hydraulic oil and filterin 7000 and cant get pump to prime dont want to run too long without pumping oil tried most of the usual tricks no luck any secrets to getting primed?

Why do you mean by usual tricks?  Did you loosen the line to the cooler and work the steering wheel with it running a little above idle?  If that doesn't work, you can also put oil into the pump at the cap on the tee that is on top of the pump.  It will take a small funnel or syringe to do it, but might help you prime the pump.  Make sure you don't have a bad elbow hose at the suction line to the pump.  Also, be sure that the doughnut gasket at the pan and suction line is not leaking.
