hello to all.where can i find the serial no. on a 39 B ?  I have oil pressure problems with the oil pump. didnt get started on it yet, but looking for some info. thank you, john

Its right by the shift lever stamped in the housing niel

Some of these old things can take a prime to make them work, if it sat around for a long time.

yes i agree however i pressurized the oil line with oil ad still have only 1-2 lbs pressure.  im assuming the problem is the pump  john

Don't jump to conclusions too fast.  It could be the tube inside the oil filter is plugged or broken or a bad oil filter.  Try the easy, little things first.  Clean the oil lines and try a gauge that you know works.
