Anyone ever make a 190xt a bareback? I think I'm going to strictly pull mine and could use to shed a few pounds. I can make a cover plate, I'm just not sure if there is going to be a shaft that will need to be supported, or any other issues. Thanks in advance.

I have a XT that is almost a bareback.  I has no 3 point or snap coupler.  Since it has PTO, I would have to make a cover w/gasket for the rear housing and take out the shaft.  Could you order a XT from the factory with no PTO like a D-21??

Best I can tell by studying the Parts book views, which are lacking at best for a case casting view.  I would say no, because the PTO shaft and seal pass through from the rear oil sump, to the front oil sump.  That would be the only thing I can see.  That being said, I don't know why you couldn't fabricate something by welding up the seal center with some lightweight metal.

I've seen a bareback 200 so I'm sure the same applies to a one ninety.

Shove a chunk of shaft the right diameter into the seals and retain it with hose clamps or whatever to keep it in place....can be done without spltting tractor.
