what is the best way to upload pictures.  i'm trying to work out a simplified process for my dad to fallow.  The trouble is all our pic are extremely high res.  I'd love to use the uploaded built into this form but it doesn't down sample them on upload.  To jog though Photobucket gets too confusing.  Anyone have some good ideas that are very simple?

many thanks!

I downloaded from the Microsoft power tools site

a photo resizer.  If I am posting a pic, I can right click on it, resize to the small or medium size and import using the photo tool on the header of the posting frame.  Seems simple to me, hope it works for you.

If you are running Windows use MS paint.  It is standard in MS systems.  Open your image in MS paint, Hit the Image tab in the top left hand corner,  then select Resize/Skew.  Once there you will see resize with a horizontal and vertical selection set at 100%.  Change both to 25% if you have a high res photo.  Remember to save the change to another name or you just permanently altered your picture.

Personally, the uploader here is harder to use than Photobucket. And you don't have to resize with Photobucket.

You can upload all your tractor pics to one album in photobucket and add a bookmark for that album. Then all you have to do is go to the pic you want to share and copy the IMG code to paste in with you text. That's about as simple as it's gonna get to share a pic.

I email my pics to my self then load direct to the forum. When you email them check the box to make pics smaller so they will go faster and the resized version fits for me.
