Maybe go to a junkyard and get a little GEO engine. The 3 cylinder is tiny and sounds fairly normal except at low idle under a load.

The guy that build the two 2/3 WC's is a good friend of mine. If you'd like his phone number I'd send it to you.

I talked to my buddy about his 2/3 WC and he said he will tell you all about it and has pic's of it as he was building it. one more thing he is going to bring it to the swap meet Sat. so you guys can look it over and build one. I asked him if he will build one more and he said no but he will tell you all about it. lol

The Kohler engines from older refer semi trailers work well for those scale models.
