I have several Allis's and  I have been using this forum for a long time, but I am having problem with my JD 535 baler and though someone in the forum may have the same baler that has experienced the problem I'm having.

I puchased the JD 535 baler this summer, older but nice.  It has a net wrap system on it, but was never used, this is a fact, so it may have never been adjusted correctly.  My problem is it's not consistant with wrapping the bales, when it does they look good.  The net wrap wraps around the rollers in the net wrap area.  The rollers are in good shape, and I have even put power on them as recommended.  The lower pain I adjusted it to the correct height and thought I had the problem fixed, this did not help.  You cannot see the bale inside the baler while in the tractor so each time you have to get out and check it to see if it's wrapped, this is not good.  The main problem is it's wrapping around the rollers, I have JD wrap installed.  The string unit on the baler works fine, but if possible I would like to use the net wrap,

Are the rollers completely smooth?  Any little burr on them will snag the net wrap cause it to wrap on the roller.

You can watch the pressure gauge as it is wrapping.  If the pressure drops as it wraps, wrap is probably on the bale.  If pressure doesn't change, or drops only a little, the wrap is going around a roller.   For an experiment, get a roll of the black netting from a New Holland dealer.  It is stiffer and not as likely to wrap around the rollers.
