Figured i would put up link to kids site on facebook as he seems to be using my shop and says business is slow now and he could use some work . He did all the design on the pieces and does the layout and cutting and his GF does all the welding . | Looks like he puts out some pretty handy implements.. I went to the Facebook page and i saw the "small tree grabber" tool, Does that work well on a skid steer? I've wondered about something like that before when chasing those pesky things around on a D6 or something large like that. |

Yes it works great for small trees and such , calls it his Buckthorn Puller, has a couple designs of it so far and latest works good on larger trees as far as grab power. Has been building them for about 5 years now and has had one comeback on those units. He stands behind every product he builds . Has made tree spades also and bale spears and bale handlers , just about anything for face plate mount on skid loaders and some 3 point things also . ------------- Faith isn't a jump in the dark. | Very handy looking pieces. I would be very interested in a Buckthorn puller if i still had my ASV or T300. I sold out my part of my business down in Florida several years ago and all the equipment stayed with it. I'll RePost the Facebook link on my page to help pass it along. Excavating work is pretty slow around here and i hear we have it better than most places. |

The full excavating field as far as small contractors is hurting. I use to have 3 or 4 jobs a week I turned down and several bids a week I never bothered with , could pick the jobs I could do and turned leads over to several others I worked with or sent work to . Now most of them are out of business, I quit taking on work as the return was not there as others were cutting bids by so much there was no profit and no return for time or equipment costs. Even though I still have my certifications up to date for my Septic work I have not done a job now for 5 years in design , inspection or such and have just done couple pump repairs for old customers. ------------- Faith isn't a jump in the dark.
