One of my 45s has an extension of approximately 3" by way of a steel sleeve extending below the bottom of the pedestal casting which raises the front of the tractor by 3". Does anyone know if that is an AC option or an aftermarket device?

I've seen the extension on a WD. I think it was an option or dealer conversion to give the front tires more clearance in mud especially if there was a mounted corn picker.
