The inside of our d-17 rearend housing has a alot of wear where a shaft passes through it. It looks like the bushing got stuck to the shaft and wore the housing. The local machine shop said they could not do anything with it.

I have one from a 170, but it is still full of good gears $$$$$$ Also have one from a 185 that is full of bad gears $

Which housing and shaft? The only shafts with bushings I can think of is the lift arm shaft or possibly the front of the rear PTO shaft?

It's the front of the PTO shaft.
