| I picked up a brand new 12.4-28 4ply Firestone traction field and road tire a few years ago at a good price. Mounted it on a repaired WD rim and rolled it into the shed. Have kept my eyes open for a mate but no such luck without paying new price. Anyway, from what I am finding, they no longer make that tire in that size, was quoted a 6 ply today at $440.00 (OUCH). Will any 12.4-28 run ok with it or am I going to have to measure tires to find one that won't cause issues due to size differences? It's not a rush issue, it's for a future project but I try to keep my eyes open for stuff I need before I have to have it. Thanks. |
