I am parting out an old HD6G loader and need help on removing the tracks. Does anyone have a detailed picture on where the pins are to take out the tracks and how they come out? Also does anyone know the weight of this machine? Thanks in advance for your help.

Master pin has a dimple in it and or is a tad longer than other pins . If you can see inside the link the bushing for the master link is shorter and has cup washer and shims to make up length .
Weight would be 12,000 to 14,000 depending on equipment .
should be parts off machine that will fit others , most track and under-carriage is the same on HD5 and HD6  along with rear housing , finals , sprockets and such several on here are looking for parts , post also in construction section.

Arthros: HD6 G Loader goes 21,000 pounds weight wise.   If you are parting the machine you could post the stuff for sale under the classified section.  There are a couple of ways to remove the track, but the easiest way would be to find the master pin as noted above, and use a hydraulic track press to push it out. Track is very heavy - be safe while removing.  Orangeman

Good lick finding that master link, I have an HD5 that I have yet to find the dimpled pin. I just back off the slack adjuster and pull the track off sideways.
According to Terry Deans reference book, the weight is 13,580, without the hydraulics and shovel
