hello all i have been thinking of making my trip bucket paulson loader into a all hydraulic loader. i wanted to get a pump that mounts out the front like i have seen on some other d 15 and 17's out there but after talking to a good friend of mine that works on this stuff he said a whole kit is 600 to 700 dollars i am wondering if i do all the work myself is there any way i can do this cheaper? i am tight on funds right now but i want to get this done i seen the valve remotes a d 17 series 4 has right on the fender and thought that would really look sharp on the old 15 to but i am sure a used one of those are not cheap any ways the things i am wondering is are there after market pumps that are reasonable out there and what type of two way cylinders should i get? i believe the tractor is a 3600 gpm.

for the moment i am trying to find a selector valve that i can change flow from the loader on my tractor and be able to use the three point with out the loader going up and down when using the 3 pt arms.... any reasonable shut off valves out there and how $ much??? fleet farm did not say if the pump would handle 3600gpm
im sure one of you have done what i want to do any feed back would help.

3600 gpm??? You are a little off. The standard D15 hydraulic pump is 1.5 gpm at 3000 psi. It would take forever to run a fully hydraulic loader with it. You would definitely want a front pump.

hi all my question was not asked right previously what i should have said was if one of you had a d 15 allis serious 1 and has a paulson trip loader what type of components would you choose to make the bucket all hydraulic? and can it be done for under $700.00???

next question is if i needed a selector valve for a temporary fix to be able to use me 3 pt arms and shut the loader off from going up and down how big of a valve do i need and is there any place were you all have gone that has what i need? thanks for replying to all that may ~amp~

you could also go with a rear pto pump as far as a selector valve the most reasonable that I have seen would be from northern hydrauulics or northern tool or what ever they call themselves. hth Brian S
