He had it listed before but with a 1900 starting price and he got no bids. Too bad its not closer, I would think about it. Here is a link to the last one.

I don't think Allis ever put any cabs on the D19, did they?

He says in the description that the cab is aftermarket and AC never put cabs on D19's. One would think he would mention it is propane. Could be he's a binder collector and doesn't know the difference from a ta and a PD. They both do about the same thing, only Allis's do it better and usually don't break!

Hey, guys. I am the one with the D 19 with a cab, that is listed on Ebay. Thanks for all the comments. It is a good honest and dependable tractor. Yes it has the t.a. and the rockshaft three point. Serial number is 15262. The cab came on it and I am the second owner, as far as I know. I have only seen one other like it, and it was in Wisconsin. Everything on the tractors works with the exception of the tach. Price is $4500 firm. Many of you guys know me. Ask Burt in Iowa about me.
Drop me a line if you have any questions. I do not check in very often. Just been too busy with feeding due to our drought conditions.

Thanks for posting Tim, had to comment.Around these parts we call that a power director.A TA is some red version of a power director.Just throwing that out there.
And Traction Booster is another term people call a TA , just thought I would try and clear that up. Good luck on your sale.

Yes, it is rare. I have been told several different stories concerning the cab on a D19. About all I know is it appears to have always been on the tractor. From what I have found out there were only 7 of these cab tractors and all were on propane. I have owned it about ten years maybe a little longer. If it does not sell, it can go back out too the hay fields in the summer. Thanks for the interest.

No it is not the same tractor listed on Craigs list. I have two of these D19's. The one on Craigs is an earlier model and does not have the cab. Both are on LP, Thanks for inquiring.

Nothing but orange paint here, and I apologize for calling it a "TA", but the red iron guys are not quite as sharp as the orange folks. Besides I wanted too see who was paying attention.

We had a Year Round cab on a D-17 back in the '60's. Dad had it transferred to a D-19 in the spring of '72. Never had a propane though!

I think I looked at that tractor in Alvarado on a little horse farm about five years ago. Seems like it had some issues with the fuel valve and one rear tire. If it's the same one, it was a pretty nice machine.

Hey Tim
Its been a long time since we had a short visit. I'm still pulling that same CA . I wish I could talk your family into pulling one of those 19s at the local pulls. There just aren't any of the bigger AC pulling in our area. A friend from Shreveport pulls a 17 and is very competitive wherever he goes.
I may just have to run up and see if one of those old strong running 19s will fit on my trailer. Ken
