Thought I'd try some pics of the ca I'm working on, and give a progress report. I have rebuilt the front end, the steering/gear box, hydraulic system and pump, fuel sytem/carb, cooling system, all new wiring, new gauges, new bat./ alt., added a 3pt. At the present I'm working on a ca #8 loader and snow blade. I plan on giving it a complete overhaul, rebuild the hand and foot clutch, new brakes, bearings, seals, and rubber. Then a correct paint job. I'm not tearing down the entire tractor all at once, I just keep one project going at a time.

I'll also be looking for a set of rear wheel weights. What are they going for? Ron

Ron, Where are you located? I would like to find a loader like that for my CA. I just gave $300 for a set of rear CA weights at the Wapak, Ohio swap meet. I would also like to hear what all was involved in rebuilding your hydraulic pump.

Jim, I'm in MO, but will be moving to IN soon. I'll keep an eye out for a #8 loader for you. The hardest thing about rebuilding the hyd pump is keeping track of your parts.
Have a parts diagram with you. It's a pretty easy rebuild, make sure everything is clean. I soaked the pump in solvent then sprayed it out with brake parts cleaner and compressed air. Inspect parts for wear. I replaced all the springs, balls, seals, o-rings, ect.. I have a parts list with prices if you need it. While the pto housing is open clean all the grud out, pull the side cover off the trans. and do the same. I fill it with a good hyd/trans fluid. If you need anything email me I'll be glad to help. Ron
