Hi, I am looking for parts to convert my 262 gas to a diesel.
Does anyone have a complete diesel cylinder head, front timing cover, injection pump,  injection lines and injectors?

Can you use the 230 ci Buda engine parts? if so, I can supply what you need.

I wonder if that would work?  Do you just have the parts or a complete engine?

Contact Tony at Tony's Tractors. I believe he parted two 45' Diesels this summer. He could probably help you out with a lot of parts....

I don't think the 230 parts will work. In the D17D repair manual they show both a WD45D (230) timing gears and the 262 timing gears. The shape of the covers don't look the same. The injection pumps are different, not to mention on the D19 and later D17 the water pump is on the block, not the head like the early 262 and 230.
