Guys: Did American Bosch ever release a comprehensive Injection Pump Service or overhaul manual for the HD6G?

If so, are they still available or can I purchase a scan of one from you guys.  I did a limited search on google and on some book sites, but nothing popped up.

I am guessing Trevman, Coke, KC Grain, Gemdozer Mactractor or Dozer may know.  Have you guys been into your pumps for overhaul.  Any thoughts/comments are appreciated.

Also, while thinking about the close of 2011 want to wish each of you reading this a wonderful holiday season and happy new year.

I do't have manual for AMERICAN BOSCH  but I open some HD6 pump for  getting some small parts for custemer and  a injection fuel pump shop should have some instruction manuals.

Ian:  That is perfect for all the Allis guys with American Bosch pumps. I did find it after a bit of searching.

In close, certainly appreciate the post.

Thanks!-Orangeman

Glad you appreciated it - took some finding, and we needed it.

We're rehabing an Allis 45 grader and have had pump problems.  Rebuilt (??) - we got it with the short motor at a sale.  Found a major diesel leak to sump (an O-ring unger the head missing), the clip that holds the short tappet to the head squashed and timed one cog out.

Plus a major govenor problem with stall on idle.  Diesel apprentice son traced that to a burr on the control shaft into the head that locked up on primary pressure.

I'm new to Allis gear, but not to machinery and like working to the book.  We have parts manuals for Forty Five and 45 graders, service manual for 45 series and HD 11 parts and service manuals (which you need as the 45 service manual only covers valve clearances, head tensions and supercharger).

I respond to posts where it looks like this fits and am adding as I know more on our  Forty Five.

Cheers

Ian

Forgot to mention - I saw a post of someone's new find which was a turbo'd 516.  Which had an inline pump rather than a distributor.  Would be interesting to find what the pump was, as the rotaries are a bit of a dead end here.

Though I hear that a later one from an IH wheel tractor will adapt.  More info would be useful

The last 516s or 11000s had German Bosch inline pumps Ian. They also fitted Roosa rotaries to them imediately before those. Engines with those pumps appeared in series B HD11 tractors and 745 wheeled loaders that I have seen. Although I`ve heard the inline pumps misbehaved somewhat in some 844 engines, never heard of any trouble with them on 516s
