Hi Guys have done a pressure test on the allice b pump it pushing a 1000 psi just over, even when engine on full rev it never fluctuates i thought we had solved the problem ?? am right in assuming it should be 3000 psi is that right?  if so am asking for advice again? plus can any one tell me were this number is from or what it stands for as this is the engine no R10644k keith.

Yep, you have a problem.  Should see at least 2500, and 3000 (might be 3200) is spec.

As far as your serial # the R prefix was used on RC tractors and power unit motors and the K is for Kerosene.

To get more pressure take plug out of top of pump and loosen set screw on side then punch sleeve down on relieve spring . Just a little does a lot.
