Im having trouble with the power steering pump, i took it all apart, seems to run great for about 4 minutes, then the pully seems to freeze up and the belt slips around it, what are the rollers inside the pump for? there are 6 of them total.

Im using dextron atf in it, tear it down, cant find anything wrong. puzzling me badly!!!!

over looking something [bearings probably rolling up locking up pump]

have a used unit a-c not char-lynn

what is the purpose of the rollers, im putting in new SS ones, old ones had cracks in them and one broke aprt and seized it up, just wondering the purpose of the rollers
